Automatic line system for finishing lock cylinders, preparing the component for the next step of nickel plating. The apparatus, part of the cylinder production line, is equipped with a system capable of communicating with the external loading/unloading systems and recognising the component and automatically setting the parameters for controlled roughness. Using a laser sensor, the system determines the correct distance between one product and the next and avoids the risk of dark patches during processing.
